Invisibility - 3 Points - Cole can go invisible for up to half an hour at a time.

Empathy - 3 Points - Cole can read images, emotions, and words from your character's past. Usually these images relate to trauma, or to a specific need that your character has. He doesn't control this very well.

Sense Pain - 4 Points - Cole can sense the presence of a character in pain or discomfort from 500 feet away. This can be physical or emotional, even quieter needs like touch starvation or needing a glass of water, if you like.

(Images, emotions, and/or 1-2 sentences of speech) - If your answer to this is just "anything from the app is fair game" that is totally valid too. If you don't WANT to be read, he will only get what is basically meaningless static. No problem.

Sense Pain - Can Cole sense your character's pain and discomfort? - Note: this can mean smaller things, like if your character is getting hungry - if you wanna keep it light, say so! Again, if you don't want things sensed, he just won't pick your character up.

I'm just doing one comment for all of my characters (August Villareal, Yusuke Kitagawa, Ash Carbide, and Yuuki Shinomiya) with a bonus note of he might be better off avoiding Ash entirely. I'll explain.

Empathy - If Cole reads your character, what will he find? Anything in particular you want him to zero in on? (For now, keep this to images!) I'd actually rather he not read any of mine beyond what's mentioned in tags, with a note that most of mine will probably just. Walk off if he tries to do that out out of the blue.

Sense Pain - Can Cole sense your character's pain and discomfort? Just keep it light if at all.

Is there anything you DO NOT want Cole to mention? (CWs and such) I am sure I have some things but I cannot think of them specifically at this moment.

Anything else you want me to know? The reason I said he's best off just not interacting with Ash at all is Ash is an escaped victim of basically a cult that experimented on him as a child in an attempt to get him possessed. If Cole even hints at being able to pick up on anything Ash himself does not say, Ash would just straight up attack Cole. He is extremely uncomfortable with spirits and the like and it's just best for everyone if we just don't.

Anything from the app is fair game, but neither of them will react very well. These all will apply for both Takame (this journal) and Eunie (medicgunner) With specifications listed for each.

Sense Pain - Can Cole sense your character's pain and discomfort? Yes, he can! Eunie's pretty open about both but Takame despite having high tolerance holds it all in and is a chronic pain sufferer to boot.

Is there anything you DO NOT want Cole to mention? (CWs and such) My only hard no is anything having to do with vehicle accidents. Cars/planes/trains/anything like that. ICly, go wild but both their stories are a bit rough.

Anything else you want me to know? Again, both Eunie and Takame's stories are kind of rough CW cities especially Takame.

Empathy - If Cole reads your character, what will he find? Anything in particular you want him to zero in on? (For now, keep this to images!) He'll first see the City as a whole, which is essentially a late 1800s/early 1900s industrial era city. Second image is probably the interior of the Clock Tower, which is Garrett's home. Lastly, he'd get a very big overwhelming sense of misery and despair in one image from something called the Gloom, an incurable plague that had many suffering in the streets and dying left and right.

Sense Pain - Can Cole sense your character's pain and discomfort? SO THIS IS AN INTERESTING THING- feel free to notice the discomfort or pain, but Cole is also free to note the fucking life force of a city in his right eye. It's only a sliver, but the Primal really likes its master thief and brings him about whenever there's change needed for the City.

Is there anything you DO NOT want Cole to mention? (CWs and such) Ehhhh I'm pretty lenient on shit, Garrett is a very cagey guy and hates being called out on a lot of things, so obviously there will be a range in his demeanor (curious to hostile and just leaving LMAO)

Anything else you want me to know? OKAY SO Garrett has a lot of guilt over the past year due to events in the prologue of Thief and what happens through the game, a whoooooleass bunch of them involving his old apprentice, Erin. He also has lived an incredibly rough life as an orphan who ran away from the orphanage he was shoved into by the age of 6 (as he was whipped on his back often for misbehaving). He's a man of reputation (called the Master Thief) in the City and constantly does stupid heists to keep himself at his best and for the thrill of the challenge. Garrett also lives by the ideal of freedom- if anything given or offered to him would mean he'd be stuck in place, he wants nothing to do with it. Finally, he's always going on about himself being able to do well in the City because he doesn't care about anyone, but that's a fucking lie. This man is so terrified of being considered human or vulnerable he keeps people away because it means he'd be safe and without knives in his back. Trusting in the City is like asking to be hung in the gallows.

A desert planet with nothing but sand, stone, and sky as far as the eye can see. The images of a great fall, hundreds of space ships crashing into a planet and burning up in the atmosphere. An endless expanse, like a void--filled with falling angel's feathers.

Sense Pain - Can Cole sense your character's pain and discomfort? Yes, and there's always a feeling of sadness and melancholy to him, despite how he always seems to be happy and carefree.

Anything else you want me to know? he's an alien, and if cole gets any sort of sense that he's an alien, he'll probably shut down and become very cagey towards him, so it's best to avoid it. he always pretends to be human and very few people know he's something inhuman, it's one of his most guarded secrets.

Nox has been on the struggle bus recently because after a year of being in Kaisou and awoken to his past life, he'd accepted that his old family was never waking up. And now his uncle came in and his father apparently moved here a few weeks before then???? It's a LOT, he feels a lot of love for his current family as well as his old family and he's sort of swimming in guilt and grief and a bit lost in it. It's a whole mess and he's kinda just going one step at a time atm

Is there anything you DO NOT want Cole to mention? (CWs and such) Uhhh, OOCly I'm uncomfortable with extensive talk of drug use and underage drinking, if there's other stuff that bothers me it tends to be more in the moment things? ICly though Yuu's pretty chill.

As their history section will indicate, arriving in Kaisou in February of last year was actually not Yuu's first go-round with being spirited away to another world. It wasn't a great experience. Being in Kaisou has actually helped them rediscover things like standards and boundaries exist!! Wild!! And that's a lot of words to say that their time in Kaisou has been overall beneficial for them and they've settled in so well that they consider the place their home now!

First anything from the app/regains entry on my journal is fair game. They don't have a lot of regain memories yet, but pieces of a new one would work. The OG Rren was a pirate, their best friend was a Romulan and their father figure was Caitian (a cat person). And their original body looked... very different before they became a hologram and shifted to looking like their AU form. There also can be flashes of images of arguments with their mom or exploring new cities. Or more recently if being a cat for a week.

Sense Pain - Can Cole sense your character's pain and discomfort? Yup! They are often more scared than they let on. But I tend to try and include bits of emotions in what I write so if I put it, it's fair game.

Anything else you want me to know? Not that I can think of, but if you want to catch images from new memories based on smth you saw, poke me and I can write it out.

An empty world of white and gray, the only things being black triangular shapes that make for odd pillars or spires, or even a stage, and a sparsely decorated bedroom, a large cherry tree in an abandoned building in full bloom... and a familiar amusement park. I'll happily elaborate on any of these if/when needed!

Sense Pain - Can Cole sense your character's pain and discomfort? Yes! Probably better than she can. Mafuyu's been so stressed out and smothered by her home life that she no longer recognizes her own emotions, and believes herself to be incapable of feeling despite desperately trying to put her thoughts and feelings into the music she creates. This is untrue as all hell, but she's doing not great. She's starved for care in all forms and because of her own history is bad at recognizing this, too.

Mafuyu's a giant Content Warning in and of herself to be perfectly honest- she's from the darkest storyline of her canon, dealing with emotional abuse, a controlling mother (putting it lightly), depression, suicide ideation and unreality. I absolutely understand if that's not something you want to engage in at all.

My app is fair game, but mind my content warnings before you look at it. It's vague but still. Images Cole can pick up on include: daggers, fine red silks, lyre strings, a reaper's scythe, dark runes, colorful murals.

Sense Pain - Can Cole sense your character's pain and discomfort? The thread will be ABSOLUTELY FULL OF CWs and admittedly I'm not sure how Amal'll react. Hopefully positively?????? It's always risky though so definitely give me a heads up HAHA....... He has some very deep seated anger issues that he still hasn't dealt with, and is one Major Character Death from going off the fucking chain at all times. On top of that he was abused for years and still very much wears those marks on his back and elsewhere.
